Centre Esplai hosted on Saturday, November 6, 2021, the 10th Fundesplai Small Childhood Conference where about 100 people have participated who are part of the teams of about 50 nursery schools and family spaces. The event served to present “Menjar canvia el món”, the educational proposal for healthy and sustainable eating of Fundesplai for the 2021-22 and 2022-23 academic years.

The event served to present “Menjar canvia el món”, Fundesplai’s educational proposal for healthy and sustainable eating for the 2021-22 and 2022-23 academic years.

In addition, the day had a formative character with the workshops of Maribel Matilla, pediatric nurse, who presented the Public Health Agency’s Early Childhood Food Recommendations Guide (0-3 years); by Ewa Sitko with “Literary resources: stories and emotions, training for early childhood educators”; and Carles Cuberes with “Recursos musicals a l’escola bressol”
The world is currently in a situation of climate, health and social emergency where food plays a fundamental role. Fundesplai aims to contribute to improving the situation described through: “Menjar canvia el món”, which includes three fundamental ideas for action: Planetary Health, reconnection with nature and education as a tool for transformation.
