On October 4 and 5, more than 20 representatives of non-profit organizations, companies and public administrations from the five partner countries of the YoPeVa project met at Centre Esplai to discuss and establish a European model of socio-labor insertion for young people based on the Fundesplai program Young Valor.
On October 4 and 5, more than 20 representatives of non-profit organizations, companies and public administrations from the five partner countries of the YoPeVa project met at Centre Esplai to discuss and establish a European model of socio-labor insertion for young people based on the Fundesplai Joven Valor program.

YoPeVa, which in Catalan means young people with values, is a project funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus Plus program. It is led by Fundesplai and counts with the participation of the University of Barcelona and entities from Sweden (Vuxenutbildningen Boras), Romania (ACDC), Italy (CESIE), Netherlands (Business Development Friedland) and Portugal (Fundaçao da Juventude); as well as with the collaboration of the Brazilian entity Renapsi.
This program, with a high percentage of socio-labor insertion, offers unemployed young people professional experience that is combined with a training process and skills strengthening.
Promotion of youth employment in Europe
The meeting has allowed the participating entities to know first-hand the good practice of Youth Value, exchange experiences and knowledge, and advance in the joint construction of an effective model for the promotion of employment of young people throughout Europe.
The participants highlighted the relevance in the insertion process of the development of transversal skills, the empowerment of participants, the involvement of administrations and companies with social responsibility, professional guidance and accompaniment, and the combination of training and professional experience in a welcoming company.
