On Thursday, November 24, Fundesplai has organized the Social Mentoring Meeting with the collaboration of the Social Mentoring Coordinator.
Fundesplai extends Social Mentoring as a tool for social intervention, which promotes a relationship of trust and mutual respect between experienced adults, who volunteer to provide support to a young person who is at risk of social exclusion and/or vulnerability.
Thus, next Thursday, November 24, Fundesplai organizes the Social Mentoring Meeting with the support and collaboration of the Social Mentoring Coordinator. This event will take place at CENTRE ESPLAI (El Prat de Llobregat) between 9am and 2pm.
Fundesplai with the collaboration of the Coordinadora de Mentoria Social a Catalunya, wants with this meeting to highlight the work and intervention of the different entities that work with Social Mentoring, and to disseminate their projects and methodologies on the accompaniment of young people, and visualize the different perspectives and experiences around this field of action.
The meeting will explain different successful experiences, there will be interventions by specialists, as well as the participation of volunteer mentors and young participants in Social Mentoring projects
