environmentCoinciding with the Nature Week, 40 workers from the Department of Territory and Sustainability have dedicated their working day to collaborate in the eradication of invasive plants on the beach of Castelldefels.

Energized by the Fundesplai Environmental Education team, the workers have participated in the project to recover the dunes of the metropolitan coast in this municipality, a project that is coordinated jointly by the Area of Parks, Gardens and Beaches of the AMB and the City Council itself.

The day has contributed to raise awareness about the vegetation and the importance of the dunes, and we have cleaned 7,500 m2, removing about 500kg of Conyza canadensis and Xanthium echinatum.
