On January 10, the course of Directors of children’s and youth leisure time that took place during the Christmas holidays at the Mercè Rodoreda school, headquarters of the Esplai Druida in Barcelona, ended.
Promoted by the Federació Catalana de l’Esplai and the Centre d’Estudis de l’Esplai , the course has been aimed at educators who are members of some of the Federation’s leisure activities, so they already have a lot of life and professional experience in the world of leisure. This has allowed the working group to be very enriching for everyone, since reflection, participation and dialogue have marked the line of the group.
On the other hand, around 20 teachers have been able to participate in the training: technicians from the Federation, directors of Esplais, colleagues from Fundesplai, etc. All of them contributing their experience and knowledge, with the aim of sharing resources, creating collective knowledge, and generating new common projects.
The course has been structured in 135 face-to-face hours and 40 hours online, while guaranteeing practices to be able to present the final report.
