On November 3 and 5, the conference on good practices of esplais against school failure organized by Fundesplai took place and where 7 entities that organize activities to support schooling participated.
This seminar, which was held at the Centre d’Esplai Pubilla Cases – Can Vidalet (Esplugues – L’Hospitalet de Llobregat), aimed to analyze these activities and identify the main challenges they have in common. Among these, it was highlighted to improve communication with families and the school to work in a more coordinated way, the need for more resources to increase personalized attention and the reinforcement of the self-esteem of girls and boys who participate in these spaces. In addition, the “Exit” project promoted by the Marianao Foundation for more than 10 years was announced.
They also had a workshop to expand didactic resources in language and mathematics by professors Pepa Carreras and Rosabel Casajuana from the retired Association of Teachers and Teachers RELLA, a collaboration that wants to promote to continue exchanging experiences, share teaching resources and continue receiving advice.
The seminar had the support of the Diputació de Barcelona and will have a second session on November 5.
