Last Thursday, October 22, in El Prat de Llobregat, theIII Forum of the Network of Collaborating Schools (XESC) of the Baix Llobregat Primary was held.
The networks attached to the XESC del Baix LLobregat met to exchange their experiences, this time, around the school garden with the aim of growing their projects in a more transversal way at the curricular level and at the level of participation.
Both teachers and students participated in the meeting. The teaching staff discussed three papers:
- The conscious eating act- Nani Moré
- School gardens – Joan Solé
- The orchard at INS Vall Hebron – Jose Antonio Valle
Then they made an exchange of experiences and a dynamic in order to have the result of “How to work the garden in an innovative way and How to solve the main difficulties when working with the garden”. Results
As for the students, an exchange of experiences was made to know and value the actions carried out by the participating schools in a collaborative way, sharing how each center develops its experience and highlighting among the rest of the participants what is the most remarkable feature of its proposal and how it could improve.
Then they did several workshops: Planet classroom, Move with the 4 elements and The environment I inhabit. Results
Joint action
The meeting ended with a workshop to disseminate among the citizens of El Prat the activities carried out during the day, giving people who passed through Plaça Catalunya at that time with a small lettuce sapling to grow at home.
