Secours Populaire Française (SPF) is a French non-profit organization that was born in 1945 with the aim of offering support to vulnerable people and families throughout France, with food aid, clothing and household expenses: rent in the home, household consumption bills, etc. With a human rights perspective and always seeking an active and committed response from the people who receive this support.
In the framework of Fundesplai’s European relations and the collaborations between both organizations, SPF invited a delegation from Fundesplai to join the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the entity on August 19 when a great celebration took place in Paris called “The day of the Forgotten of the Holidays”. Among the collaborations of Fundesplai and SPF calk highlight the participation of young people from SPF in the Youth Rights Week 2014 and the participation of young people from Fundesplai in an Erasmus plus international exchange “Youth of the Euro-Mediterranean”, promoted by SPF in Nimes also in 2014.
Our colleagues Neus Barrero (Secretary) and Melodia Bosch (Youth Area, International and Social Fundesplai), together with their families, made up the Fundesplai delegation that enjoyed the day of August 19, and also an exciting week in Paris, with an agenda full of activities, thanks to the invitation of Secours Populaire Frances. The day of August 19 was exciting and very intense.
