Last Thursday, June 18, the 3rd Children’s Meeting was held at the El Nus Recreation Center in Sant Joan Despí as the closing of the family spaces. Four esplais participated: CE El Nus itself, Grup d’Esplai Tricicle, Esplai Espurnes and Esplai Mowgli.

Last Thursday, June 18, the 3rd Children’s Meeting was held at the El Nus Recreation Center in Sant Joan Despí as the closing of the family spaces. Four esplais participated: CE El Nus itself, Grup d’Esplai Tricicle, Esplai Espurnes and Esplai Mowgli.
A total of 25 adults (families), 25 children from 0-3 years old and 10 educators from the different esplais participated in the event.
The meeting had a very special guest: the Little Prince, emblematic character of the educational proposal 2013-15 that has helped the esplais to be more sustainable… He congratulated the esplais for the good trajectory of the project, captured the happiness of the children and families, the good work done for the professionals, and the pleasant reception by all.
This is the collective activity at the end of the course of the esplais that share the Fundesplai Petita Infància project, with the aim of making the group visible and sharing an afternoon of free play for children, spontaneous gathering between adults and educators… all this in a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere, made possible by the center of Esplai el Nus.
The afternoon had 4 key spaces for children:
- Water corner, with a creative structure of tubes and colored water
- Corner of the sand , with buckets, shovels and rakes
- Drawing corner, with a common mural to leave printing presses and creative drawings
- Makeup corner, to transform yourself..
Simultaneously, opinions of the participating families were recorded in order to create a video that helps to give more strength and prominence to young children:
- Why do you think leisure is important in the 0-3 age group?
- What do you value most about the project?
- Would you like your child to follow the path to recreation?
The afternoon was also accompanied by a sweet snack and a group family photo.
