The Fundesplai Solidarity Gymkhana to collect scholarships for camps for children with social needs includes this year a lot of activities that are already underway!
Among the outstanding actions, it is worth highlighting the #Unestiuxatothom Concerts, a cycle that includes a wide range of artists of different styles who put their music at the service of this solidarity cause.
Thus, so far, La M.O.D.A., Rafa Pons, El Niño de la Hipoteca, Tori Sparks, Xebi SF, Lídia Guevara, Nando Cavallero, No More Dramas, Barcelona Blues Society and Carlos Cros have already played. Soon the DJs Cristina Garrote and Edu Chinaski (05/06), Joana Serrat (06/06), Quique González (01/07), the DJs Manel Celeiro and Oscar Moon (10/07) and Salvaje Montoya (12/07) will do it. Solidarity walk, sale of products, solidarity dinners…
In addition, many of the teams in the Gymkhana are raising scholarship resources by selling products and organizing events. Thus, the teams “Manos a la obra” and “Les 7 magnífiques” organize a solidarity dinner on Friday 12/06 at 8pm at CENTRE ESPLAI (El Prat de Llobregat) that includes barbecue and dance classes (salsa, swing, etc.)
Other planned actions are the solidarity walk carried out by the teams “Pimpi…”, “… nela” and “Ja som five” on 13/06 between L’Hospitalet a Montserrat or the sale of artisan products that make “Les 7 magnífiques”, “Labor Power” and “Pinya’s Queens”.
On the other hand, teams such as the “Pumukis d’Enlleura’t” (Mataró) already organized a workshop on solidarity badges; the “Espurnix Team” (Esplugues de Llobregat) made a solidarity concert on 15/05 with The CoverKings and The Black Rose; L@s “Rumbill@s de Pubilla” (L’Hospitalet – Esplugues de Llobregat) raised funds with a solidarity tombola; The “Raconet Team” (Cervelló), with a solidarity piggy bank within the framework of the city’s Trade Fair; and “Bar Coyote” (El Prat de Llobregat) also held a solidarity party at the Federation Days.
Tests open to everyone
The 3rd edition of the Solidarity Gymkhana incorporates as a novelty that the tests that are proposed are open to everyone and it is not necessary to be registered as a team. There are important prizes for the winners of each event!
