Nuria Valls, Deputy Director General of Fundesplai, participated as moderator of the panel “Avances y desafíos para las Juventudes en El Salvador”.

Last Thursday, May 21, took place in the city of San Salvador (El Salvador) the VI Ibero-American Forum “Haciendo Política Juntos”, that drives La Liga Iberoamericana and seeks to strengthen the Ibero-American Third Sector. Nuria Valls, Deputy Director General of Fundesplai, participated as moderator of the panel “Avances y desafíos para las Juventudes en El Salvador”.
This is one of the key events of La Liga Iberoamericana in its strategic line to reinforce the impact on public policies of the social organizations that comprise it. 250 people participated, many of them young members of La Liga entities.
The presentation of the VI Forum was given by the Deputy Minister of Cooperation of El Salvador, Jaime Miranda; the President of La Liga, Alejandra Sollà; and the President of Funsalprodese, partner organization that hosted the activity, Maria Elba Alvarado.
Ricardo Carvalho from Fundaçao da Joventude, Gustavo Hernandez from SERAJ-Mexico and Valinei Valerio from Fundaçao Pro Cerrado in Brazil participated in the panel that dealt with “Experiences in the formulation, application and control of public youth policies”.
The closing ceremony was also attended by the representative of SEGIB, Ignacio Uriarte, sent especially for La Liga activities in El Salvador.
