Fundesplai has participated in the Euro-Mediterranean Youth Solidarity Festival, an international meeting organized by Secours Populaire Français, an entity that works with young people, in Nimes (France), which was held between October 24 and 26. This meeting has been a success of participation: exchanges, debates, new ideas, projects on how to involve more and better young people in solidarity projects… It has also been a space for relations and friendships between young people from countries such as Palestine, France, Germany, Catalonia, Spain, Greece, Iraq, Italy, the United Kingdom and Poland, among others.
The Fundesplai delegation to the international meeting was made up of 3 young people: Noelia and Alpha (19 and 23 years old respectively), young people from the Tresca project of the Youth, International and Social Area of Fundesplai, and Ana (19 years old), young woman from Esplai Fonsanta-Fatjó, who this summer had participated in an exchange in France.
Fundesplai’s relationship with French Secours Populaire Français began with the participation of this entity in the Youth Rights Week in November 2013 and also in the Festa Esplai 2013. The relationship with this European partner has enabled a network of contacts and has generated other international projects underway.
We invite you to watch the video summary and images of the meeting. The 70 is the symbol of the anniversary of the SPF entity, which will turn 70 in 2015.
