On 24, 25 and 26 October, more than 300 young Euro-Mediterranean people will participate in the International Meeting “Festival of Euro-Mediterranean Youth Solidarity” organized by Socors Popular Francés (SPF) in Nimes.
The organizing entity was formed in France in 1945 and its mission is to offer clothing and food to the population at risk of social exclusion in the country, as well as promoting volunteering and associations among the population, especially among young people. All with the work of volunteers who help the association achieve its objectives.
In the framework of the 2013 work of Fundeplai and SPF, an SPF delegation participated in the Youth Rights Week 2013. It is in this context that Fundesplai intends to participate in the International Meeting in Nimes, with a delegation of 3 young Tresca from different editions of the project and a person from the area of Youth, International and Social.
The objective of the participation of Fundesplai is to publicize the project “Week for the Rights of Youth” in Nimes and, from the young people themselves, to enable contacts with other organizations that will also be at the Meeting. In addition, we want to give Tresca young people the opportunity to know the European associative contexts and to learn and grow as committed young people. For the young people of Fundesplai it is fortunate as well as a responsibility, in their own words.
