Esplais
Since our origins, beaches have been our pillars, the basis on which our mission and reason for being is based. In the esplais we do leisure education every day in direct contact with the communities of the neighborhoods and towns where we operate. We have several of our own esplais and also a close collaboration with the Federació Catalana de l’Esplai, which brings together more than 130 esplais and leisure projects from all over Catalonia.
Own esplais
The esplais themselves are Fundesplai projects that have begun at different times in our history. They are esplais that organize educational leisure activities for children, young people and families, and collaborate with the entire neighborhood community. Recreation is a community and participatory living space in which priority is given to promoting the autonomy and well-being of people through games, sport, excursions, artistic expression, technologies, … but above all from coexistence. Our esplais are federated to the Federació Catalana de l’Esplai and collaborate and work in a network with local administrations.

Catalan Federation of Recreation
The Federació Catalana de l’Esplai is a non-profit organization founded in 1996 by Fundesplai, heir to Movibaix. The Federació Catalana de l’Esplai promotes social and educational recognition of leisure centres and articulates different territorial dynamics through networking. Through the Federació Catalana de l’Esplai we offer support to federated esplais: management support, training, pedagogical projects, resources, summer camps and camping grounds… We take care of the esplais and accompany them on a day-to-day basis!
