The purpose of this document is for school canteens to prevent food waste.<\/p>\n<p>The guide is structured in 10 steps that midday education time managers can follow to develop and implement the plan for reducing food waste. In this sense, it is proposed to weigh wasted food and analyze the results, or design an educational program so that children are aware of how they can take advantage of food.<\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s educational proposal of Fundesplai \/ 7 i Tria has focused on working for the reduction of food waste, emphasizing the impact on the educational time of noon. For this reason, some of the proposals included in the guide have already been carried out in the educational centers managed by Fundesplai \/ 7 and Tria.<\/p>\n<p>An example of the work being done is the project &#8216;Let&#8217;s serve ourselves as at home&#8217;, through which Fundesplai \/ 7 i Tria aims to promote self-management of the meal, since the child is served alone taking into account their degree of satiety.
