{"id":53904,"date":"2022-07-22T14:02:12","date_gmt":"2022-07-22T12:02:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fundesplai.org\/informa-t\/uncategorized\/nadia-ghulam-with-this-book-i-want-to-invite-people-who-do-things-for-peace-to-speak-up-and-explain-it\/"},"modified":"2022-07-22T14:02:12","modified_gmt":"2022-07-22T12:02:12","slug":"nadia-ghulam-with-this-book-i-want-to-invite-people-who-do-things-for-peace-to-speak-up-and-explain-it","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fundesplai.org\/en\/informa-t\/news\/nadia-ghulam-with-this-book-i-want-to-invite-people-who-do-things-for-peace-to-speak-up-and-explain-it\/","title":{"rendered":"Nadia Ghulam: &#8220;With this book I want to invite people who do things for peace to speak up and explain it&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Afghan activist presented her new book &#8216;<strong>Dreaming of Peace<\/strong>&#8216;.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Ghulam presented his new book &#8216;<strong>Dreaming<\/strong> of peace&#8217;, on the occasion of the situation in his country -Afghanistan-, within the framework of the collective activity in favor of peace carried out by children and young people in Casals, colonies and camps of &nbsp;Fundesplai.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-9568\" src=\"https:\/\/fundesplai.org\/test-joomla\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/26\/2022\/07\/Diseno_sin_titulo_3.png\" alt=\"Untitled Design 3\" width=\"100%\" height=\"NaN\"><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background-color: transparent\">In the presentation, Afghan Nadia Ghulan stated that &#8220;<strong>peace is as necessary<\/strong> as the oxygen we breathe, as the water we drink or as the food we eat to stay alive.&#8221; Ghulam explained that he has made the book to <strong>convey his powerlessness<\/strong> regarding the current situation in his country, Afghanistan, to explain what is happening and what we can do:&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"background-color: transparent\">&#8220;I think <strong>there are a lot of good people<\/strong> ,&#8221; he said, &#8220;who help and accompany others, but who do it quietly. In this book, I invite people who do good things for peace to speak up and explain it.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background-color: transparent\">The event was also a show of solidarity with the thousands of children and families who suffer the ravages <strong>of &nbsp;<\/strong> war and its consequences around the world. A day to become aware of the importance of children and young people becoming &#8220;<strong>active agents for peace<\/strong>&#8220;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Precisely, this is the central axis of the summer activities of Fundesplai under the motto &#8220;<strong>Let&#8217;s make a better world possible. It&#8217;s time!<\/strong>&#8221; seeks that children, young people and families participate in workshops, excursions, games, etc. through which they know and contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-9578\" src=\"https:\/\/fundesplai.org\/test-joomla\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/26\/2022\/07\/Diseno_sin_titulo_4.png\" alt=\"Untitled Design 4\" width=\"70%\" height=\"NaN\"><\/p>\n<p>Nadia Ghulam was 8 years old when a bomb that fell on her home in Kabul caused her serious injuries.
