Last Tuesday, March 15 and Saturday, March 19, a training block of the Social Mentoring program promoted by Fundesplai was held, aimed at volunteer mentors.<\/p>\n

The general objective of the Social Mentoring Programme<\/strong><\/a> of Fundesplai is to accompany the young person, who is participating or has participated in Fundesplai projects, in their process of inclusion in adult life according to their own life project and reinforce aspects such as their labor insertion, continuous training throughout life and the consolidation of their personal growth.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, 14 volunteers   participated interested in being able to contribute and participate in the social mentoring process with the young people of the Fundesplai programs. Once this initial training has been completed, the 14 volunteer mentors join the programme’s volunteer pool.<\/p>\n

The training aims to provide mentors with basic knowledge and skills, in order to guide the young person, guide and support them, working on their autonomy and responsibility in the actions they carry out, with the supervision and monitoring of the technical team of Fundesplai.<\/p>\n

The volunteer mentors who join the Social Mentoring program have an initial in-depth interview, among others, with the technical team of the program. They express their willingness to collaborate in the improvement of society, contributing their grain of sand in accompanying young people, for their social and labor insertion. They are aware that youth unemployment is a major handicap for  society, and are highly motivated to contribute voluntarily to the programme.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
