On December 21 and 23, 2015 at Centre Esplai (El Prat de Llobregat) the initial training was carried out for volunteers interested in the framework of the Fundesplai Social Mentoring Program<\/a> .<\/p>\n

On December 21 and 23, 2015 at Centre Esplai (El Prat de Llobregat) the initial training was carried out for volunteers interested in the framework of the  Fundesplai Social  Mentoring Program<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Fundesplai Mentoring program is based on a methodology where links of trust and mutual respect are established between volunteers and young people who participate in the different projects of the Area of Actions and Educational and Social Programs  of Fundesplai.<\/p>\n

Mentoring is a social intervention tool that promotes relationships between volunteers, who offer themselves to provide individual support to young people who are in a situation of social vulnerability, while guiding, guiding and supporting them, working on their autonomy and responsibility in the actions that are carried out. This intervention methodology brings  together people from different social groups, fosters commitment between mentors and young people to share experiences and knowledge, and reinforces social cohesion.<\/p>\n

For this year 2016 the main objectives are to consolidate the Social Mentoring program within the projects with young people of Fundesplai and grow in number of interventions and impact.<\/p>\n

Currently, Fundesplai is carrying out a campaign to search for and select volunteers, through universities, youth points, networks… <\/p>\n
