{"id":53228,"date":"2015-01-29T13:42:33","date_gmt":"2015-01-29T12:42:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fundesplai.org\/informa-t\/uncategorized\/mentors-start-the-year-with-renewed-energy\/"},"modified":"2015-01-29T13:42:33","modified_gmt":"2015-01-29T12:42:33","slug":"mentors-start-the-year-with-renewed-energy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fundesplai.org\/en\/informa-t\/news\/mentors-start-the-year-with-renewed-energy\/","title":{"rendered":"Mentors start the year with renewed energy!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Fundesplai Mentoring Program (Fundaci\u00f3 Catalana de l&#8217;Esplai) consists of a methodology based on establishing bonds of trust and mutual respect between people who are in a normalized situation, and young people who participate in the different projects of the Youth, International and Social Area of the Fundesplai.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background-color: transparent\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignleft size-full wp-image-1481\" style=\"margin: 5px;float: left\" src=\"https:\/\/fundesplai.org\/test-joomla\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/26\/2015\/01\/mentors.jpg\" alt=\"Mentors\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\">The Fundesplai Mentoring Program (Fundaci\u00f3 Catalana de l&#8217;Esplai) consists of a methodology based on establishing bonds of trust and mutual respect between people who are in a normalized situation, and young people who participate in the different projects of the Youth, International and Social Area of the Fundesplai.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background-color: transparent\">It is a social intervention tool that promotes relationships between volunteers, who offer themselves to provide individual support to people who are in a situation of social vulnerability. This methodology allows to approach&nbsp;<\/span>to people from different social groups, promote commitment between mentors and young people to share experiences and knowledge and strengthen social cohesion.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background-color: transparent\">The Fundesplai Mentoring program resumes its activity in January 2015, with a<\/span><strong style=\"background-color: transparent\">&nbsp; restructuring<\/strong><span style=\"background-color: transparent\"> and greater intensity (given the new opportunities detected):<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Weekly meetings with the &#8220;D+D+Q&#8221; Mentoring team (Design, Development and Quality).<\/li>\n<li>A calendar with a limited and specific annual work plan.<\/li>\n<li>With an eye on <strong>having more volunteers<\/strong>: campaign to have a greater volume of mentors who support young people.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So let&#8217;s give a boost to all the work done so far!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Other novelties 2015:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The new training in mentoring.<\/strong> A training focused on volunteers who will act as mentors. This training will deal with various aspects and tools that the volunteer needs to be able to do the task well.
