Fundesplai (Fundaci\u00f3 Catalana de l’Esplai) has participated this May in two events in El Prat del Llobregat: the Social and Cooperative Economy Week of El Prat and the conference “El Prat amb les personas”.<\/p>\n

“El Prat with people”<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first of these events was the conference  “El Prat amb les personas”, on Wednesday, May 14, organized by the City Council of El Prat de Llobregat, and where the Local Plan for Cohesion and Social Inclusion and the Plan of Measures against the crisis were presented.<\/p>\n

The event included a lecture by Milagros P\u00e9rez Oliva, journalist of “El Pa\u00eds”, entitled “The crisis and its stories”. Later, a round table took place where different social entities of El Prat participated:  Caritas, Red Cross, Francesc de Palau, Sa\u00f3, Gats and Fundesplai. Carles Barba, vice-president of Fundesplai, took part in this forum, explaining initiatives that the organization develops in the city such as the ” Conecta Joven”<\/a> or the work carried out by the Sant Cosme Children’s Group.<\/p>\n

El Prat Social and Cooperative Economy Week<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the other hand, on Wednesday, May 21, Carles Barba also participated with the presentation “The Fundaci\u00f3 Catalana de l’Esplai and the economy for the common good”, within the framework of the Social and Cooperative Economy Week of El Prat that took place between May 19 and 24 and was organized by the City Council of El Prat.<\/p>\n
