The meeting, which took place at the Palau Macaya (Barcelona) of the Fundaci\u00f3 la Caixa, was opened by <strong>Joaquim Brugu\u00e9,<\/strong> Professor of Political Science and Director of the IGOP of the UAB, and <strong>Carles Barba<\/strong>, vice-president of the Foundation, who gave way to group work.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div><strong>Online and face-to-face debate to improve democracy<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>These sessions are part of the process of collective construction of the collection <strong>Documents for Debate<\/strong> on citizenship that the Advisory Council of the Esplai Foundation, at the national level, promotes throughout Spain.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>The debate, which began on October 3, 2009 on the basis of two contributions from<strong>I\u00f1aki Gabilondo<\/strong> i <strong>Josep Ramoneda<\/strong>continued in a virtual forum during the months of November and December generated in the network. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ciudadaniaycalidaddemocratica.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.ciudadaniaycalidaddemocratica.org<\/a> The face-to-face discussions that will be held on Tuesday, 4 &nbsp;were inaugurated, are based on the contents of the&nbsp; The main objective is to develop proposals for the improvement of democracy in our country.
