ENVIRONMENTAL VOLUNTEERING ACTION SOM NATURA<\/h3>\n

Come and participate in an environmental volunteer day<\/strong> at Platja del F\u00f2rum (Barcelona) to recover the coastal dune ecosystem<\/strong>. Dunes are an essential natural barrier against erosion and climate change, but they are fragile spaces that need the care and involvement of citizens to be preserved. <\/p>\n

This is a session of cleaning and removal of solid waste and invasive vegetation<\/strong> to improve the environment of the dunes in the area. We will also take the opportunity to plant new species native to dune and saline environments<\/strong> to regenerate the natural ecosystem of that area. This practice helps to fix the sand and promote the biodiversity of coastal ecosystems. <\/p>\n

Thanks to our environmental education team you will learn how this habitat works, what species live there and how small collective gestures protect the Barcelona coastline. It will be a relaxing, fun and very enriching day!<\/strong><\/p>\n
